What to Expect
-
All of our gatherings take place at a local school in the heart of Penarth. A small car park is available on the property as well as a number of spaces on the streets surrounding the school. You can enter through the main entrance where you’ll be greeted by our members.
Sunday Service
During our Sunday gathering, we strive for biblical preaching, rich prayers, and congregational singing of a mix of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. Our congregation’s Sunday attire ranges from jeans and t-shirts to suits. Normally, we offer Sunday School for children (reception-year 6) during the sermon. After service, we invite you to stick around for tea and coffee. Sunday services are held every week at 10:30 AM. Also, every fortnight, some of our members host “The Hub” a Sunday evening Bible study and fellowship for youth from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Tuesday Fellowship
Tuesday evening fellowship will have a different feel than the Sunday service. It’s more of a family time where we will have tea and biscuits and can check up on each other in a personal way. We usually sing a couple of songs, share testimonies, and pray. This is a time each week when we hear about who’s hurting, who’s rejoicing, and countless other things that we cast before our Lord in prayer. Then, we’ll have a shorter teaching with Bible discussion around tables. Tuesday fellowships are held every week at 8:00 PM except during term break.
